4PDI Model GD101

This is the universal PDI that works on most gasoline-fueled vehicles with distributor type engines. The PDI simply replaces the existing ignition coil using the same wires and mounting location as the original ignition coil. It is designed to work on the following gasoline fueled vehicles:

  1. All pre-electronic vehicles whose engines are equipped with breaker points type distributors or have had the original breaker points replaced with an electronic system.
  2. All OBD I vehicles.
  3. All Chrysler OBD II vehicles equipped with distributor type engines.
  4. All GM OBD II vehicles equipped with distributor type engines.

 

A distributor type engine can be identified by the presence of a circular distributor cap with spark plug wires connecting it to each spark plug. A direct ignition engine has no distributor and will have either a coil pack with spark plug wires connecting it to the spark plugs or individual ignition coils mounted directly over each spark plug.

OBD I and OBD II vehicles can be identified by the engine identification placard located in the engine compartment of the vehicle.

The SS1B is an intermittent duty spark shower igniter used for igniting fuel in the burner section of industrial turbine equipment. It provides a high power, high frequency ignition spark that ignites fuel inside the combustion chamber of burner or heat exchanger. The SS1B replaces the old motor driven magneto with a solid state, electrically driven ignition source. This eliminates costly moving parts and starting problems caused by magneto wear. The SS1B is designed for applications where the igniter is shut off after the fire is started and can be run for up to 5 minutes at a time. For igniter applications that require a continuous spark, use the model SS2B.

The SS2B is a continuous duty spark shower igniter used for igniting fuel in the burner section of industrial equipment. It provides a high power, high frequency ignition spark that ignites fuel inside the combustion chamber of burner or heat exchanger. The SS2B replaces the old motor driven magneto with a solid state, electrically driven ignition source. This eliminates costly moving parts and starting problems caused by magneto wear.

9309022 Model ZK902


The ZK902 is a spark shower igniter used for igniting fuel in the burner section of a turbine engine. It provides a high power, high frequency ignition spark that ignites fuel inside the combustion chamber. It can be used in any industrial application where a short duration ignition spark is needed. The ZK902 is capable of up to 15 minutes operation per hour.
The ZK902 utilizes an external ignition coil. The coil can be mounted near the combustion chamber electrodes while allowing the ZK902 to be mounted in a cooler, dryer place. It is compatible with the SC020 ignition coil. No wring harness is supplied with this unit, it is intended as a repair part only to replace the model ZK Perma-Tune.


CAUTION
The Model ZK902 is designed for intermittent operation only and will be damaged if left on.
For continuous operation use Perma-Tune Model number SS2B.

The ZK904 is a spark shower igniter used for igniting fuel in the burner section of a turbine engine. It provides a high power, high frequency ignition spark that ignites fuel inside the combustion chamber. It can be used in any industrial application where a high voltage ignition spark is needed. It is intended for use where the SS2B would require a very long high Voltage wire. This unit allows the coil to be mounted near the igniter electrodes so that a short high Voltage wire can be used.

The ZK904 is rated for continuous operation and utilizes an external ignition coil. The coil can be mounted near the combustion chamber electrodes while allowing the ZK2 to be mounted in a cooler, dryer place. It is compatible with the SC020 ignition coil.
